About First Horizon Park

First Horizon Park

Located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, First Horizon Park is a brand-new minor league ballpark. It’s got a capacity of 10,000, unique design elements -like a guitar-shaped scoreboard to celebrate Nashville’s role as one of the biggest hubs of country music in the nation-, and the ability to host not just baseball but other sports like soccer, making it a fun, modern, and versatile little stadium that’s perfect for Nashville’s needs!

The History of First Horizon Park

Originally known as First Tennessee Park, when it opened in 2015, thanks to a naming deal struck by the local banking company with the same name, the ballpark updated its name when the bank’s parent company changed to First Horizon in 2019. Other than that, there’s not much to say about the history of this ballpark because it’s just so brand spanking new – though, to its credit, it was built on the wreckage of the Sulphur Dell ball field, which was demolished in the 1960s.

What’s So Great About First Horizon Park Events?

First Horizon Park is so new it’s practically still got the plastic shrink wrap on its seats. If you’re looking for a thoroughly modern event space with some of the most comfortable amenities around, you cannot go wrong with this one!
