About Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi Tickets

New Jersey has birthed many rockstars and celebrities spanning generations. Bruce Springsteen was born there, as was more modern rock-pop star Bon Jovi. But easily the most famous person to ever have a New Jersey birth certificate is Jon Bon Jovi.

He’s one of the most famous musicians, ever, and the namesake for the band that put American rock and roll on the global map, Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi never really had a bad year once they hit the big time. They conquered the 80s, kept their title in the 90s, and reminded everyone that they were still the kings in the 2000s.

The Birth of Bon Jovi

John Bon Jovi himself started performing at 13 in his native New Jersey. He met and started playing music with David Bryan when he was 16 – and they created the band Atlantic City Expressway. That band didn’t last long, but that’s okay – whatever needed to happen for Bon Jovi to come together is okay with us. After a few years, Jon’s other projects fell apart and led him to put Bon Jovi together. It took a few different phone calls, but in 1983, the band was formed. The members included Jon Bon Jovi (of course), Richie Sambora, Tico Torres, and David Brian at the beginning.

Global Success

Jon Bon Jovi had a record deal already lined up, which helped launch their first self-titled album. That album had a hit single, “Runaway,” which helped them run away with their success. Their next album, 7800 Degree Fahrenheit, went gold and started the Bon Jovi obsession. They put Slippery When Wet, a year or so later, which had the legendary songs “Dead or Alive” and “Livin on a Prayer.” They put out more than 20 albums in their lifetime, and they don’t seem to be done yet (if rumors can be believed). Speaking of rumors, a little birdie told us they’re coming to an arena near you.

FAQs

How much are Bon Jovi tickets?

Bon Jovi ticket prices will differ depending on the source and the seats. The best price for Bon Jovi tickets is usually around $58 a ticket, and that’s for nosebleed seats! If you want floor seats, or if you’re shopping for tickets at a popular venue, you could easily be looking at a few hundred dollars more.

How to buy Bon Jovi tickets?

Bon Jovi ticket prices are going to be pretty high if purchased directly from the box office. That means the best way to buy cheap Bon Jovi tickets is online through a ticket marketplace. Ticket marketplaces like Gametime are perfect because they put you in contact with resellers looking to move seats at a relative bargain. It’s the safest and most affordable way to get the best price for Bon Jovi tickets.

What’s Bon Jovi tour setlist?

You never know what’s going to happen at a Bon Jovi concert, but here’s the average tour setlist:

  • This House Is Not for Sale
  • Raise Your Hands
  • You Give Love a Bad Name
  • Born to Be My Baby
  • Whole Lot of Leavin'
  • Lost Highway
  • Runaway
  • We Weren't Born to Follow
  • Have a Nice Day
  • Keep the Faith
  • Amen
  • Bed of Roses
  • Roller Coaster
  • It's My Life

  • Wanted Dead or Alive
  • We Don't Run
  • Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars
  • I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
  • Bad Medicine
  • Blood on Blood
  • Livin' on a Prayer

How long is a Bon Jovi concert?

With such an epic setlist, you can expect Bon Jovi’s performance to last for around 90 minutes, from start to finish. When you take opening acts into account, you’re looking at two to three hours of entertainment.

How much are Bon Jovi floor seats?

The best way to see Bon Jovi live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $85 to $137, and if you’re seeing Bon Jovi at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.

Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting Bon Jovi ticket prices on floor seats, and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait. Waiting until the last minute can get you some great discounts because resellers with unsold seats don’t make any money. Wait it out and watch those prices drop to something more affordable, and then enjoy your floor seats!
