About Amaranthe
Amaranthe Tickets
Unfortunately, Metal is a relatively male-dominated genre. We don’t know why people are always talking about how loud women can be. But that’s how the industry is – which makes Amaranthe just that much different than everyone else. Their band includes a woman, Elize Ryd, who does half of their vocals.
Elize is the only woman in the band, out of seven members, but we’ll take whatever equality we can get. We’re seeing more and more metal bands out of Sweden, which has mostly contributed house music to the scene in the last few years. We’d love to see an Amon Amarth and Amaranthe collaboration album (just putting that out there).
Melodic Death Metal
IF you took Elize out of the equation, Amaranthe would be metal, no doubt about it. But her clear and haunting vocals (which remind us of Aurora, who found fame in Frozen two) give the music a pop twist. It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re trying to ease yourself into metal music, Amaranthe would be a good place to start.
Speaking of starting, the band first got together in 2008. It consists of Elize Ryd, Andy Solvestrom, Henrik Englund, Jake E., Johan Andreassen, Morten Lowe Sorenson, and Olaf Morck. Try saying all those names three times fast!
Massive Addictive Sound
The bands’ first album, Nexus, pretty much flew off the charts. It exceeded expectations in their home country of Sweden, but also around the globe. The same is true of their next albums, Addictive and Maximalism, which came out a year apart. Their more recent work has taken a step away from pop and towards EDM, as they’re influenced by many of their Swedish musical peers. No matter how they evolve over time, they’ll always put on a great live show.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much are Amaranthe tickets?
Amaranthe ticket prices will differ depending on the source and the seats. The best price for Amaranthe tickets is usually around $28 a ticket, and that’s for nosebleed seats! If you want floor seats, or if you’re shopping for tickets at a popular venue, you could easily be looking at a few hundred dollars more.
How to buy Amaranthe tickets?
Amaranthe ticket prices are going to be pretty high if purchased directly from the box office. That means the best way to buy cheap Amaranthe tickets is online through a ticket marketplace. Ticket marketplaces like Gametime are perfect because they put you in contact with resellers looking to move seats at a relative bargain. It’s the safest and most affordable way to get the best price for Amaranthe tickets.
What’s Amaranthe tour setlist?
You never know what’s going to happen at an Amaranthe concert, but here’s the average tour setlist:
- Maximize
- Digital World
- Hunger
- Amaranthine
- GG6
- Helix
- That Song
- Call Out My Name
- The Nexus
- Drop Dead Cynical
How long is an Amaranthe concert?
With such an epic setlist, you can expect Amaranthe’s performance to last for around 90 minutes, from start to finish. When you take opening acts into account, you’re looking at two to three hours of entertainment.
How much are Amaranthe floor seats?
The best way to see Amaranthe live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $78 to $109, and if you’re seeing Amaranthe at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.
Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting Amaranthe ticket prices on floor seats and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait. Waiting until the last minute can get you some great discounts because resellers with unsold seats don’t make any money. Wait it out and watch those prices drop to something more affordable, and then enjoy your floor seats!
